Born in Chicago, I sang in choir in public school, learned bass guitar at 15, went to Kent State U in the late 60s, became a filmmaker in 70's LA, moved to the NW in the 80's to do special effects, had 3 girls with my cool wife, retired from the video biz in 2010 and moved to Asheville, NC, to begin making music as Billy Radd.
